Nature Skills.com is an online resource for mentors and educators largely sponsored by the Wilderness Awareness School in Duvall, WA. A Parnership between the University of Vermont and Shelburn Farms, PLACE is dedicated to helping teachers better teach the analysis of their local bioregion using the idea of landscape analysis with a scope on the physical, cultural, and ecological. PLACE hopes to have “address to become as familiar as one’s zip code, and eco-regional identity as intrinsic as county of residence.”

FFEC is a place-based professional development resource for educators desiring to learn more about place-based and out-door education possibilities for their classroom. The site includes many postings of sample curriculum that may be downloaded by any one. FFEC is a partner ship of private and public programs including, but not limited to, Shelburn Farms, Marsh Billings-Rockafeller National Historical Park, and Green Mountain National Forest.

The Adirondack Curriculum Project is a New York State Based non-profit resource committed to curriculum design and activity planing resources revolving around the ecology of the Adirondack Mountain region and the Lake Champlain Watershed.
