2011 SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE:
EARTH EXPLORERS ONE WEEK DAY CAMPS
For campers ages 6-12
Earth Explorers (session 1) June 27-July 1 (Mon-Fri)
Earth Explorers (session 2) July 5-July 9 (Tue-Sat)
EARTH ADVENTURES TWO WEEK DAY CAMP
For campers ages 8-12
Earth Adventures (session 3) July 18-22 and July 25-29
EARTH JOURNEYS OVERNIGHT CAMPS
For campers ages 12-15
Rising Sun for Boys 2011 and New Moon for Girls 2011
Sunday July 31-Sunday August 7
MENTOR-IN-TRAINING (new program)
For campers ages 12-15
3 weeks of camp for experienced EarthWalkers!
1 week Training June 20-24 with overnight 6/22
PLUS M.I.T immersion for 2 weeks of camp (Either Earth Explorers OR Earth Adventures)
EarthWalk Summer Camps Include:
Cooperative Games, Navigating the land, Sensory activities, Nature-awareness, Fire-making, Shelter-building, Earth crafts, Group Challenges, Storytelling & Songs, Exploring habitats, Cooling off in the brook & More!
Groups for Day Camps: We begin and end the day in a multi-age village-circle and spend most of each day in smaller groups of 8-10 children, separated by age. Each group will have a lead mentor and a 1-2 mentor apprentices.
