EarthGirls Afterschool program (est. 2007)
Every Tuesday afternoon, September to June. 3:30 to 6pm, for girls ages 8-12.
EarthGirls inspires and celebrates girls as they join in song and story and learn earth skills and crafts. Led by women mentors, this weekly after-school program offers girls the opportunity to strengthen their relationships with each other and the Earth.
EarthScouts Afterschool program (est. 2009)
Every Tuesday afternoon, September to June. 3:30 to 6pm, for boys ages 8-12.
EarthScouts is an exciting opportunity to adventure together learning the ancient skills of survival and awareness. Boys are led by men who offer guidance in developing their knowledge of the Earth and their connection to one another.
*NEW Afterschool Program for Older Girls! For a while now we have been receiving requests for a program that meets the needs of older girls. This year we are excited to offer New Moon Girls, a pilot afterschool program for girls ages 12-16 ! New Moon Girls will run at the same time as EarthGirls and EarthScouts and will offer older girls and mentors a special opportunity to delve deeply into earth-based skills and healthy communication within a framework particularly appropriate to adolescent girls. In a positive and supportive peer environment we will work on advanced craft projects, build on our outdoor living skills, as well as have plenty of time for connecting and sharing! We are spreading the news about this program through word of mouth, so tell your friends.
