A November rainbow
The rays of sunlight streaming through the trees were absolutely amazing….the picture doesn’t even do it full justice.
I love the patterns the snow and the branches always make after a fresh snowfall…
Snow balancing on some birch twigs
Our pond was covered with these ice patterns. It was like some kind of glass art.
More Ice!

This is the best sunrise I’ve seen since last fall. I’ll take it as a sign that spring is coming.
Close-up of the sun. It’s almost as if the tree was on fire.
I saw this deer on an early morning walk. I watched it grazing in a field for at least half an hour before it noticed me.
I like how the robin contrasts with the bright blue sky.
Buds on a pussy willow tree in my yard.
Three geese posing in a field.
Another goose picture.
The last ice formation in a culvert. The ice on the pond is already melted. Another sign of spring.

Recently the Winooski river in plainfield village flooded,
and there were some excellent photo opportunities.
and there were some excellent photo opportunities.
I stared at this spot in the river for about 5 minutes. I loved how powerful the river looked and felt there.
I think this one has a really cool angle,
but I couldn’t really capture the way the water was flushing out
the hollow of the tree as well as I hoped.
This is my personal favorite.
The barbed wire, intertwined with grapevine and the flooded river behind it.

I love how you cant quite see the top of the tree…
it gives me the feeling that it could go on forever.

Red Fox Drawing
My first attempt at drawing this detailed.
My first attempt at drawing this detailed.
I think this is one of my best drawings ever.
It’s a lynx which I didn’t have the patience to draw the markings on.
They live in Canada, so not exactly locally.
